One of Oprah's Favorites, Dale and Thomas popcorn is just awesome! However, it's VERY expensive!
During those times when there is no Dale and Thomas promotion, deal, coupon code or the like - whip up your own impressive gourmet popcorn! Frugal minds take action! Try this one...use your imagination and come up with your own...and who knows, maybe you'll never go back to Dale and Thomas :)
This one is really easy:
Pop about 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels then place in a clean brown paper bag and add about 2 ounces of extra virgin olive oil (aka EVOO for all you Rachel Ray lovers) or melted butter. Close the bag and shake "violently." Open the bag and add 1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese, 2 Tablespoon freshly chopped oregano and 2 teaspoons of salt. Close and shake again. Double shaking evenly coats the popcorn with the toppings.
