My frugal living finds this week weren't anything spectacular but nonetheless fun:
1. RiteAid: It's that time of year when I can get Russell Stover's Strawberry cream - LOVE IT! It's an indulgence, yes...but hey - sue me! Ha! I picked up two Chocolate Strawberry Cream Hearts @ .50cents each. I had a $1.00 "UP+" coupon so they ended up FREE to me!
2. RiteAid: Excedrin Migraine 24ct Tablets - $3.99 and 2 more Chocolate Strawberry Cream Hearts @ 50cents each - Less Manufacturer's coupon for Excedrin Migraine tabs $4.99 - total out of pocket: .35cents for tax!
CASHED IN ALUMINUM CANS - RECYCLING CENTER - 11LBS - $20.35
3. Petco: Dog treats - on sale: $6.49, Cat food - on sale: $7.99, Cat food - reduction bin: Reg. $3.00 - sale price: .50cents - two doggie collar charms (for fun) - on sale: .20cents each - 10% off Petco Discount coupon - total out the door: $15.05 (including tax)
4. Starbucks: Grande and Tall mocha frappacino's, bagel and scone: $10.90 - used FREE Starbucks cards from special offer - $0.00 out of pocket ($4.00 left on card)
5. Starbucks: Picked up free music download cards while there
6. Big Lots: Picked up Wii Game accessories for $5.00 each (golf club, baseball bat, hand gun), Hallmark photo albums, recipe books - $4.00; Martha Stewart stickers - $1.00
7. Dollar Tree: File folders (for my organization project), Dog treats for skin/coat $1.00 each
8. Bath and Body Works: Votive candles (3) FREE, antibacterial hand sanitizer FREE, full size hand soap, antibacterial hand sanitizer and hand bac holder FREE
9. Eco-thrift: TONs of fabric - $1.50 will be great for quilting, 2 canning jars .45c and .33c, 2 dog collars (1 leather studded) $1.50, Ceramic dog treat jar - $7.50 (equivalent retail $29.00), gift box .75c, 12 cloth napkins - will use for quilting project - .75c, decorative pillow - will use for form and recover - $1.50, iDog - .75c.
10. Big 5: $27.00 Swiss Army Knife - $12.00
11. Aaron Brothers: 2 frames B1G1 for 1cent - net price, $8.00 for two wooden 5x7 frames - one is for gift, the other for another time.
12. Panda Express: Two free entrees for survey
